On November 28, 2026, Evrod Cassimy will celebrate his Christmas album, Standing On Christmas, with a FREE live concert at Thalia Hall benefiting Springboard to Success!!! Evrod is passionate about giving back to the city that helped shape his career. Through music, he continues to bring people together while creating meaningful opportunities for Chicago families and youth.
His most recent concert raised $50,000, providing scholarships for Chicago Housing Authority students and holiday assistance for families in need. This year, Evrod hopes to make an even greater impact through the support of sponsors, donors, and community partners.

Evrod Cassimy, Morning Anchor for NBC 5 News in Chicago, is also an accomplished singer-songwriter who has been performing since the age of three. Throughout his music career, he has used his platform to give back, releasing six studio albums and donating proceeds from annual benefit concerts to charitable causes. Together, these efforts have raised nearly $200,000.

The Springboard to Success (S2S) Annual Spring Cocktail Fundraiser is our main fundraising event that brings together community leaders, partners, and supporters to celebrate and invest in the success of CHA youth. Guests enjoy an evening of cocktails, conversation, and connection while raising funds for scholarships and programs that open doors to college and career opportunities. The event is both a celebration of student achievement and a call to action, ensuring more young people have the resources and support they need to thrive.
