Each year, heroes from across the city assemble for a night of connection, celebration, and cocktails—all in support of young people growing up in Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) communities. The Springboard to Success (S2S) Annual Cocktail Fundraiser isn’t just an event—it’s a call to action. Suit up, raise a glass, and join us to help the next generation discover their own extraordinary potential.

This year’s theme, Heroes Among Us, celebrates the everyday champions who uplift and invest in CHA youth—educators, mentors, partners, and supporters. But most importantly, it highlights the truth at the heart of our mission: CHA youth are superheroes. Fueled by resilience, determination, and the power of potential, they are writing their own origin stories as they pursue higher education, meaningful careers, and independent futures.
Heroes don’t always wear capes—but they do show up. Suit up for success and help change lives.

Emcee Jill Hopkins (New Media and Civic Events Producer, Host of "Making Beyoncé," and "The Opus" podcasts and live host of "The Moth") will be our evening guide and DJ as she spins tunes and entertains our crowd. Unleash imagination as you create your very own superhero persona and get a fantastic caricature comic to take home. With exciting activities and atmosphere, you’ll feel like you’re stepping right into a comic book adventure while contributing to a nonprofit mission. Don’t miss out on the chance to celebrate your inner hero and make a difference in the community!
You’ll simply give your name at registration to check into the event.
