Springboard to Success (S2S) is the nonprofit partner of the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) and supports programs and partners that propel the CHA’s youngest residents on their pathways to academic success, economic stability and independence. It is our vision that youth currently living in CHA households achieve housing stability as an adult without the requirement of a housing subsidy.

Fund and enhance programs that support CHA youth and the development of 21st Century Learning Skills needed for success through funds and enhancements to the Chicago Housing Authority Resident Scholarship Program. By leveraging S2S' network of local nonprofit partners and organizations that identify CHA youth in their programs, we help CHA youth connect to S2S scholarships and services and ultimately get to and through college.

CHA's mission is to create and sustain strong communities where seniors thrive and everyone can unlock their economic power. S2S supports this mission by leveraging private dollars to fund undergraduate scholarships, youth programming, home ownership pathways and events, and helps seniors reduce isolation.
