Flipping the Script is to reverse a situation, especially by doing something unexpected. Our event will showcase S2S students and alums who have flipped the script of what is expected of youth growing up in public housing. We will feature a trailer to a short film written and produced by CHA youth, exhibit photography from our college exposure program that will be available in our silent auction, and highlight the narratives and stories of our alums’ excellence.

Springboard to Success (S2S) enhances the vital work of the Chicago Housing Authority’s (CHA) Resident Services Division by funding programs and events that augment current youth programs and services. S2S ensures a robust college access pipeline for CHA youth by funding programs and events that bridge gaps and reduce barriers for CHA youth to get to and through college and into professional careers.

It is the S2S vision that youth currently living in CHA households achieve housing stability as an adult without the requirement of a housing subsidy.
